'hentian Air Balang Ramadan' Infak Programme Strengthens Bond Among Residents

IPOH, March 21 (Bernama) -- The ‘Hentian Air Balang Ramadan’ infak (donation) programme organised by the Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) Klebang Putra 1 here aims to further strengthen ties among local residents while performing charitable deeds.

Muhamad Khalil Yaacob, 34, a member of the KRT committee said the preparations for the programme began approximately two weeks before Ramadan.

According to him, the KRT successfully collected RM3,440 during that period, with RM1,500 being used for the programme, while another RM1,500 was allocated for the moreh and iftar programme and the remaining for the bubur lambuk programme.

"The objective of this charity programme is to strengthen the bond among the residents of Klebang Putra, which has about 1,500 residents, including those under KRT Klebang Putra 1," he told Bernama when met here recently.
