Pernas Extends Aid To Asnaf Children, Single Mothers In Kampung Kerinchi

KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 (Bernama) -- Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (Pernas) has extended aid to 60 asnaf children and single mothers around Kampung Kerinchi to ease their burden in preparing for Aidilfitri.

In a statement today, Pernas said the Sinar Ramadan Pernas 2024 programme marks its first corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative for this year, which allocated RM20,000 to beneficiaries, including a donation to Ar-Rahah Mosque, Kampung Kerinchi.

“The Sinar Ramadan CSR programme demonstrates the company’s commitment to assisting those in need in their preparations for the month of Syawal,” it said.

Meanwhile, Pernas chief executive officer Tengku Mohamed Fadhli Tengku Hamzah, in the same statement, said the company remains dedicated to implementing CSR programmes through three core areas, namely entrepreneurship, education and community well-being.

He said that Pernas, under the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry, has several other CSR initiatives planned for this year to assist those in need.
