KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 (Bernama) -- In conjunction with this year's Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Malabar Gold & Diamonds unveils a special collection crafted by international designers from 13 countries, showcasing exquisite and meticulously detailed handiwork, truly unlike any other.
According to a statement from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, this year's Hari Raya collection features the NOUR collection, inspired by the Middle East, with a more subdued matte gold tone, exuding elegance without excessive sparkle.
Meanwhile, the BELLA collection highlights a more contemporary design with a blend of white gold, rose gold and yellow gold, while ELLAN, inspired by flora and fauna elements, presents 3D designs with blossoming petals, captivating and vibrant.
"The primary goal of Malabar Gold & Diamonds is to offer something unique and special to local jewellery enthusiasts.
"Beautiful designs, affordable prices and most importantly, customer satisfaction with the best service experience at Malabar Gold & Diamonds," as the statement goes.
According to Malabar Gold & Diamonds, a coordinated outfit and hijab are incomplete without a gold bracelet or necklace around the neck. Jewellery is no longer an extravagance but a profitable investment.
"If possible, gift a golden necklace or ring as a token of love and appreciation to your loved ones. There are various unique and exclusive collections available at Malabar Gold & Diamond stores," it said.
In line with this year's Aidilfitri celebration, Malabar Gold & Diamonds offers a 100% buyback guarantee on old gold items purchased from other stores when buying diamond items.
"If customers opt not to purchase diamond items and wish to exchange their old gold items, Malabar will buy back the old gold items with only an eight per cent deduction.
For instance, if the selling price of gold at Malabar Gold & Diamonds today is RM324 per gramme, the customer's old gold items will be bought back at RM298 per gramme. If customers prefer cash, only a five per cent deduction will be applied for items purchased at Malabar Gold & Diamonds," it said.
Previously, the 100% buyback offer without depreciation was for gold or diamond items purchased from Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
Themed ‘The Splendour of Ramadan, The Beauty of Eid’, this year's Malabar Gold & Diamonds campaign showcases the traditional Malay wooden house, commonly known as the Rumah Kampung, adorned with twinkling lights and oil lamps around the courtyard to welcome the arrival of Ramadan and the approaching Syawal.
"It is indeed heartwarming to return to the hometown. We are very fortunate that Ramadan is celebrated with perfection, with pre-dawn meals, breaking fast together with family, performing tarawih prayers, and enjoying ‘moreh (a feast held at mosque or surau during fasting month, usually after tarawih and witr prayers) together," said Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
Malabar Gold and Diamonds have been in Malaysia since 2015 with nine showrooms including at Ampang Point, Jalan Bunus, Masjid India, Klang, Mydin Mall in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Seremban Mydin Mall, Seremban 2 in Negeri Sembilan, Penang, and Ipoh in Perak.
The Malabar Gold & Diamond business empire was founded by M. P. Ahammed in Kerala, India, in 1993 and now has over 340 branches covering India, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Turkey, and Australia.
Recently, the brand received recognition from Deloitte Global Luxury Goods as the 19th luxury brand.
