Sultan Of Pahang Graces Ihya Ramadan 2024 Organised By Yakeb, Fmt

KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah graced the Ihya Ramadan 2024 ceremony at a leading hotel here today.

At the ceremony, organised by the online portal Free Malaysia Today (FMT) and the National Athletes Welfare Foundation (Yakeb), His Royal Highness also presented Hari Raya Aidilfitri financial assistance to 50 former athletes, 24 of whom were present.

Twenty-six others, who were not present, also received the assistance, which will be deposited into their accounts.

Also present at the ceremony were Yakeb chairman Datuk Noorul Ariffin Abdul Majeed and FMT managing director Azeem Abu Bakar, who had earlier presented zakat wakalah worth RM50,000 to be distributed to the former athletes involved.

Al-Sultan Abdullah also broke fast and performed the Maghrib prayer with the guests.
