Ramadan Bazaar In Sibu Introduces Mega Food Stall Concept
SIBU, March 11 (Bernama) -- This year's Ramadan Bazaar in Sibu at Dataran Tun Tuanku Bujang features a new concept with a mega food stall selling various delicacies and combined with facilities for breaking fast for visitors.
Sarawak Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development, Datuk Dr. Annuar Rapaee said that the breaking fast facilities consist of a large tent equipped with tables and chairs located in the centre of the bazaar.
Dr Annuar, who is also the assemblyman for Nangka, said that although the number of stall lots allocated this year is higher compared to last year, the demand for these lots has also increased, and the organisers have to limit the number of lots to ensure that the stalls remain clean and well-organised.
He stated that through the use of the mega food stall concept, a total of 108 stalls could be set up in a more orderly and neat manner, providing more space for visitors to move comfortably without feeling congested.
"This year's bazaar concept is different from previous years. It's like a mega food stall selling various breaking fast delicacies while also providing tents, tables, and chairs for visitors to break their fast," he told the media after visiting the bazaar today.
