PUTRAJAYA, March 16 (Bernama) -- The spirit of teamwork and cooperation shown by members of the National Association of Wives of Civil Servants and Women Civil Servants (Puspanita) branch of the Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) (PCKKD) at today’s ‘Ambang Ramadan Bubur Lambuk Resepi Istimewa’ programme has been hailed by KKD secretary-general Datuk Seri Mohammad Mentek.

Mohammad, who is also the PCKKD advisor, said he was proud of and moved by the commitment of the over 100 Puspanita members, who worked together to cook the Penang-style bubur lambuk (rice porridge) since 9 am, with guidance from its chairman Datin Seri Hairani Mohd Tajudin.

Mohammad, who spent about 20 minutes at the programme, said activities like cooking bubur lambuk could help forge friendships and ties among officials and staff, besides creating cross-agency collaborations.

Apart from KKD personnel, the programme was also participated by staff from other agencies under the KKD, such as the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), Information Department (Japen), Tun Abdul Razak Institute of Broadcasting and Information (IPPTAR) and National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia (FINAS).

Hairani said the 3,000 packets of bubur lambuk were later distributed to the KKD personnel.
