Kpkt Distributes Food For Iftar To Media Personnel

KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) continues this year's Sentuhan Kasih Ramadan KPKT campaign by distributing iftar meals to media personnel.

Its Financial and Procurement Division secretary Zulkeflee Sulaiman said that the distribution of iftar meals was a token of appreciation to the media personnel who have greatly assisted the ministry in implementing policies and services for the people.

He said such programmes could also further strengthen the strategic cooperation between KPKT and media agencies in the country.

"For this year, the distribution of iftar meals has increased to 1,100 media practitioners involving seven media agencies, and today we are providing 200 packed iftar meals to Bernama (Malaysian National News Agency) personnel," he said at the Sentuhan Kasih Ramadan KPKT 2024 programme at Wisma Bernama here today.

Also present were Bernama deputy editor-in-chief (Economic News Service) Azlina Aziz; head of TV, Bernama TV and Radio Broadcasting Division Nor Hamzeela Md Hambali and SWCorp deputy chief executive officer (Management) Murali Jayabalan.
