Bernama Staff Livens Up Ramadan With Jom Sahur Programme

KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 (Bernama) -- To liven up the spirit of Ramadan, a total of 50 Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) staff gathered at Wisma Bernama early today for the Jom Sahur Bernama 2024/1445H programme.

Bernama chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin said the programme, which enters its fourth edition this year, also aims to appreciate the agency staff, especially those on night shift duty.

“Alhamdulillah for the lively celebration this morning. The Bernama management joined other staff, including those on night shifts, for a pre-dawn meal and to strengthen bonds,” she said when met at the programme.

The programme also featured a tazkirah (religious talks) session delivered by the Islamic Affairs Officer of the Zakat Distribution Division of the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council Umar Mukhtar Mohd Noor and followed by congregational subuh prayers.

Also present at the programme were Bernama Editor-in-Chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj, deputy editor-in-chief (News Service) Nasriah Darus and deputy editor-in-chief (Economic News Service) Azlina Aziz.
