PUTRAJAYA, April 5 (Bernama) -- The Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister's Department (JPM) through the i-Care4U: Ziarah Kasih Ramadan programme targets 2,795 e-Kasih recipients to receive assistance in preparation for Aidilfitri and the 2023 school session, said its director-general, Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz.

ICU JPM’s three strategic partners, namely National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), Prudential Bank Simpanan Nasional Takaful Berhad (PruBSN) and Putrajaya power substation (SJPJ), working together to make the programme a success, with donations in the form of cash and goods, he said.

PTPTN contributed as many as 3,000 school bags, with PruBSN channelling RM50,000 while SJPJ contributed RM5,000.

Wan Ahmad Dahlan, at the i-Care4U event today, said that the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme will be implemented nationwide, with several field trips scheduled throughout the month of April.

The i-Care4u is a CSR programme under the ICU JPM people's well-being initiative, providing a platform for corporate bodies, including civil society, to help the underprivileged, especially the hardcore poor in the country.

“It is hoped that this collaboration will be a catalyst for agencies and other corporate bodies to move in line with the MADANI government's agenda, to achieve the target of zero poverty by 2025," he said.
